Ten Principles of Arya Samaj
- God is the ultimate source of all true knowledge and of the objects that are known by means.
- God is existence, intelligence and bliss (Sat-Chit-Anand ). He is formless, Almighty, just, merciful, unborn, infinite unchangeable, beginningless, Incomparable the support and Lord of all, all pervading, omniscient Immortal, exempt from eternal, holy and the Maker of the universe. To him alone worship is due.
- The Vedas are books the true knowledge . It is the paramount duty of all Aryans to read them and to teach them, to hear them and to read them to others.
- We should always be ready to accept truth and renounce untruth.
- All actions should be done in conformity with Dharma after due condsideration of right and wrong.
- The primary aim of Arya Samaj is to do good to all man kind i.e. to promote their physical, spiritual and social welfare.
- We should treat all people with affection and justice and with due regard to their merits.
- We should aim at dispelling ignorance and promoting knowledge.
- No one should remain satisfied with his own welfare. He should his welfare as a part and parcel of the wefare of all.
- In matters which affect the well being of all, a person should give subordinate place to his personal likeings. In matters which affect him alone, he is to enjoy freedom of action.
