A nation is known by the culture and education of its people. The type of education is known by the actions, communication and behaviour of people. Here in DAV Centenary Public School the horizon of learning gets expanded as the teaching environment is reinvented beyond text books. This aim is realized by focusing on the development of KASSIM (Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, and Social and Moral values). Sometimes it becomes challenging to utilize the global changes in the methods of instructions for the all-round development of students and uphold the DAV commitment towards nation building. In order to keep pace with the growing civilization human thinking needs to adapt change like the mind adapts change in speed on a tread mill. Likewise the living mind governs the change of speed of food steps in the form of thinking. The quality of effects is visible only when there is collaborative efforts of the physical and mental abilities of an individual. The knowledge of the world can only be acquired in the world and not in a closet; therefore the willingness to feel change and adept charge is of utmost importance. The illiterates of 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write but those who cannot learn to unlearn the irrelevant and relearn the relevant. Storing the mind with millions of facts is no education. Those who are able to communication and contribute positively in any situation or circumstance are really educated. Such people have the best possible vibrations and the inbuilt ability to do constructive work and succeed. The school authority is fully aware of the lifelong learning and provides opportunity for personal and professional growth of the team.

In this school, we witness that our students have unparallel knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism, an acute consciousness about the world around them, focused ambitions and sustained commitment. I am also fortunate to have an experienced and committed team which has brought the school to its present stature. I, along with my untiring team of dedicated faculty and office staff, intend to build on the strong foundation and raise the standards in all spheres of learning to the zenith.

The teachers and parents need to drift from stereotype thinking on education and become a facilitator to enhance the HOT level based on the skills of mind. Certainly it can be said that the quality of education only will determine the destiny of the nation. It is time to prepare students for world citizenship…. To create world citizen with strong native roots. It is very vital to understand what will education be fifteen years from now? We should encourage our students to become producers of knowledge at global level. For me, education does not mean providing answers. It means equipping the pupil with the means to find answers for themselves, from themselves and empower students to discover-who they are as people. The programmes in school provide an opportunity for students to explore  their talents. Within each student is a doctor, an environmentalist, a poet, an astrologer, an artist, a philanthropist and an economist. The teachers support them channelizing resources vis-a vis their dreams, thus, generating sustainable civilized and productive human capital for serving  the motherland in line with the DAV MOTTO  “Tumso Ma Jyotirgamaya “ and Service Before Self”

The Period in DAV Centenary Public School has been a journey of great learning. As they say, One who dares to teach must never cease to learn. I have learnt a lot not only from my seniors and colleagues but also from my students and parents through continuous interactions. I also have the advantage of inspiration from the valuable guidelines of our illustrious Head of DAV Organization Padma Bhushan Shri G.P. Chopra ji who along with his elite and distinguished Office Bearers is managing approximately 700 institutions all over India. The Local Managing Committee (LMC) Members too have created landmarks in their professional fields before accepting to render their selfless service to the school for the cause of education. With the eternal blessings at DAVCMC level and at Local level I am committed to carry forward the impeccable image of DAV Jaipur to now heights.
